For those with an interest in more literary fiction and writers, the Association of Writers & Writing Programs is holding its annual convention in Denver this year, April 7-10. Michael Chabon is a keynote presenter.

Registration is pricier than MileHiCon (about $90 if you're not a student, and only students can sign up to volunteer - which can earn you a free registration), but the book fair in the Convention Center will be open to the public on Saturday only and a badge will not be needed to enter the exhibit hall.
